The above information comes after the European Commission (EC) conducted an investigation and discovered that these products were being sold at too low prices.

The EC has imposed import duties of 10.2% on Indonesian company IRNC and 20.2% on other Indonesian steel producers, the EC announced on November 18.

The duty rate for India is 13.9% for Jindal Stainless and Jindal Stainless Hisar, and 35.3% for other Indian manufacturers.

The EC said that this anti-dumping duty will take effect from November 19 and that the application of the above anti-dumping measures is considered necessary to prevent serious injury to European industry.
