This is a standard compiled by the National Standard Technical Committee TCVN/TC 17 Steel and published by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
This standard applies to rebar grades: CB300-V, CB400-V, CB500-V, CB-600-V, supplied in straight, coil and straightened products.
In steel grade, the word “CB” stands for concrete reinforcement. The next three digits (300, 400, 500, 600) represent the specified yield strength value. The symbol “V” stands for rebar.
Some common requirements of rebar steel are based on standard TCVN 1651-2:2018.
